A walker was airlifted off a Highland mountain today after suffering from the effects of the cold.
The Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Inverness was sent after the alarm was raised by the woman’s walking partner at 1.49pm.
They were on Aonach Dubh in Glencoe.
The helicopter took the woman to the care of Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team who checked her over. She did not need medical treatment.
