Proposals for a 32-home development in an Easter Ross village could be approved tomorrow.
The homes are planned for land in Hilton of Cadboll, north-east of the primary school.
The developers, Sangster Electrical Ltd, say they will build a new car park for Hilton of Cadboll primary as part of the development.
Concerns were raised about access to the site at Piccolo Mundo, and the developer proposes to upgrade this.
Consultations also threw up concerns over the lack of useable public space and play facilities.
The developer has subsequently agreed to create an adventure play trail to connect the site’s open space with woodland next to the sustainable drainage system.
Planning officers have recommended the scheme for approval.
