A temporary weight restriction will be in place on a road at Boat of Garten this week.
The measure is to allow Scottish Water to upgrade the local waste treatment works.
Between 8am-5pm from today to Friday, the C1128 Boat of Garten Road will be temporarily restricted to all vehicles weighing over 7.5 tonnes.
The restriction is from the main street of Boat of Garten, Spey Avenue-Drumuillie Road, in an easterly direction to its junction with the private access to Boat of Garten Golf and Tennis Club.
A Highland Council spokesman said: “Vehicles of 7.5 tonnes or less will be unaffected by this temporary restriction and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.”
Alternative routes for heavy vehicles will be available using the A95 Granish-Grantown-Keith trunk road, the B970 Aviemore-Speybridge road and the C1128 Boat of Garten Road.
