Anyone who hopes to join the board of High Life Highland has until the new year to submit their application.
Two seats have become vacant at the charity, which operates community learning and leisure services for Highland Council.
Chairman Laurence Young died earlier this year and another member has retired.
Now the council is looking to recruit two new directors to the board.
Applications are welcome from individuals with a good track record in business or community management, experience of leading a team within a company or community organisation and knowledge of the cultural, learning and leisure sector in the north.
A particular interest in the views of young and older people, health, employability, partnership working or tourism would be an advantage.
People from under-represented groups are encouraged to apply, with preference being given to people who are based in the Highlands.
The positions are unpaid but reasonable expenses will be available.
Anyone interested has until 2pm on January 19 to submit their application.
Interviews will take place on February 19 and appointments will be confirmed at Highland Council’s meeting on March 13.
