Two men aged 29 and 32 from Elgin have been charged in connection with numerous alleged thefts and attempted thefts from commercial premises in the Moray area.
The men are linked to ten separate incidents between January and March in Elgin and Buckie whereby diesel, tools and other electrical equipment were taken.
PC Rosanagh Davison said: “Thank you to all those who provided information in connection with this investigation.
“Acquisitive crimes in the Moray area are rare so when they do happen we use every resource available to us to detect them.
She added: “It goes without saying that local businesses should be able to operate without the fear of being targeted however it is crucial that owners think about having robust security measures in place to deter potential thieves.
