People from near and far gathered at Glenlivet Hall at the weekend for the annual Wild in the Park event.
Held to celebrate the nature, heritage and culture of the Cairngorms, the programme of events ranged from a movie night to illustrative talks, nature walks, stargazing and wildflower ball crafting.
The Cairngorm reindeer herd even paid a visit, much to the delight of the young visitors.
Oliver Giles, development manager of the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Development Trust, which organised the weekend, said: “We were keen to put on a weekend to promote the rich variety of wildlife we are lucky to have as there is lot of rare and endangered wildlife that people aren’t able to see anywhere else.”
“We wanted to create a weekend that had something for everyone and for whole families to enjoy.
“We just hope everyone had a great experience and has a desire to come back for another visit – one visit is rarely enough.”
The event was supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
