More than 30 Moray school pupils have signed up to a scheme to help them make their career choices.
Senior pupils from Elgin, Lossiemouth and Speyside high schools have been paired up with mentors for the Career Academies UK programme, which will offer them advice, masterclasses and a four-week internship.
At an event to launch the scheme, pupils heard from Sean Conway – the first man to swim from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
The 33-year-old told the group his story and urged the students to realise their ambitions.
Earlier this year, in partnership with Moray Council, Diageo announced support for an initial three-year programme with Career Academies UK, which will allow 260 pupils from eight schools across Moray to take part.
