Aberdeen residents have been warned they must “use or lose” a new council bus service.
Infrastructure committee members yesterday approved £80,000 plans for a new day-time bus service between Culter and Asda Garthdee, which will go via Cults, Airyhall and Mannofield.
They also agreed to commit £35,000 for an evening bus service in Craigiebuckler and Airyhall to the city centre, which will run Monday to Sunday.
The supported service 15A from Craigiebuckler/Airyhall will follow the route of the existing service 15. However, it will continue after 7pm, with the final journey from the city centre departing at 11pm.
Infrastructure convener Neil Cooney said: “We are delighted to fund these new bus services for local residents.
“We hope that these services are well used and allow residents easy access to local amenities such as shops and restaurants.”
