In the video, posted online by Willows Animal Sanctuary in Aberdeenshire, the adorable baby goat is seen finding its feet at only two days old.
Kate Robinson, 67, who set up the sanctuary in 1999 with husband Nick, 66, said the animals’ owners left the country, leaving the animals alone at the farm.
The goat’s mother, alongside 12 sheep and four other goats, were found at the farm a couple of miles south of Willows sanctuary in October last year.
In the short video welcoming the Boer goat – a breed developed in South Africa in the 1900s – Kate revealed “official” advice was to have the goat’s mother killed while pregnant.
