The north-east has recorded 28 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
The latest figures from the Scottish Government show there have been 65 new confirmed positive cases across the country and there have been no registered deaths in the last 24 hours.
A regional breakdown of the figures shows there have been 28 new cases recorded in the Grampian area, two in Orkney and one in the Highlands in the past 24 hours. The region’s total number of positive cases now sits at 1,787, 14 and 389 people respectively.
There have been no new cases in for Shetland and the Western Isles.
Their total positive cases since the pandemic began remains at 56 for Shetland and seven in the Western Isles.
A total of 415,868 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS Scotland labs and UK Government Labs to date with results showing 396,630 being confirmed negative while 19,238 were positive.
As of midnight a total of 253 were being treated in hospital, with three in intensive care with confirmed Covid-19.
Since March 5, 4,188 patients have been discharged from hospital.
Scotland’s death toll remains at 2,491.
