Aberdeen took on the second-tier Emirati side as part of their training camp scheduled in the middle east. Gary Mackay-Steven was named on the bench the first time he has been included since suffering concussion in BetFred Cup final on December 2. The game finished 2-0 in favour of Aberdeen with both goals scored by Sam Cosgrove. Showing his class Ethan Ross showed his skills in training with a nice no look pass as he spun 360 degrees.
