Brora take a 1-1 draw back to Dudgeon Park for the second leg of the SPFL play off after an entertaining 90 minutes at Meadowbank.
Davie Kirkwood’s side travelled down to Edinburgh for the historic tie and got off to a bright start but were unable to open the scoring.
Brora enjoyed the better of the first half but were punished for not taking their chances after the break.
Ortega Deniran latched on to a short pass back from Scott Houston to lob Joe Malin in the Brora goal to give Edinburgh City a 57th minute lead.
However, Brora fought back and netted a deserved equaliser through Martin McLean in the 79th minute to ensure the game is finely poised ahead of the second leg.
