Grande’s manager, Scooter Braun, fermented speculation ahead of the unannounced performance on social media with a cryptic tweet to the singer. At the end of the video, a bee can be seen flying off screen in an allusion to Manchester’s symbol of the worker bee. The former Nickelodeon star halted her Dangerous Woman tour after the bombing, before returning for the One Love Manchester benefit concert. Scores were also injured when Salman Abedi detonated the home-made device in the May 2017 attack.
