Love Island viewers were heartbroken for Georgia Steel after a “brutal” recoupling which saw her man Josh Denzel move on with new girl Kazimir Crossley.

The latest episode of the ITV2 show saw the group having to choose whether to stay with their current partners or form a fresh couple with one of the new girls or boys.

Georgia decide to stay loyal to Josh, after telling Dani Dyer she really liked him.

“I’ve not batted an eyelid at any guy in a relationship kind of way because I am falling for him, I am,” she said.

But her hopes were crushed when Josh chose to be with Kazimir after falling for her while he was living at Casa Amor.

Georgia looked stunned as Josh strolled into the villa with Kaz, saying: “How f****** dare you man?

“Why would you do that to me?”

When host Caroline Flack questioned Josh about his decision he said he had not planned to have his head turned but that Kaz “blew me away”.

Viewers said the scenes were “brutal” and tough to watch.

“Absolutely SAVAGE!!! That was, sadly, an expected recoupling regarding Josh and Georgia (and Kaz), but it didn’t make it any less brutal to watch!” said one person on Twitter.

“God poor Georgia….. I know how she feels…. knife in the heart,” said another.

“Georgia had been nothing but faithful & loyal to josh and I’m fully heartbroken that it’s been thrown back in her face. Give the boy what he deserves,” one posted.

Another tweeted: “I feel sick at the whole Georgia josh thing, cruel and disgusting, get him off.”

Viewers predicted that Josh and Kazimir’s time together would be brief, as the public are so upset by what they have done to Georgia.

“Josh and Kaz should really enjoy their time cause the whole of UK is voting you off,” said one disgruntled fan.

Love Island continues on ITV2.
