We asked and you delivered, we’ve waded through the submissions and chosen our favourite colourful tributes to the Queen from our readers.
Since her death, the outpouring of love and creativity has been both touching and extraordinary.
From tractors lining up in a guard of honour as the royal cortege passed through Deeside to knitted postbox toppers and marmalade sandwiches, there was no end of heartwarming parting gifts for Her Majesty.
It was touching to see children’s portraits of the Queen sitting alongside the many other tributes across the north and north-east.
Pictures have been sent in from children across the UK demonstrating how they saw the Queen.
We have been very impressed by the creativity on show from our readers with not only drawings but crafts sent in too.
Alongside the etchings there is a portrait using seashells from the Moray coast and a display of the Queen’s last day at Balmoral Castle made using household items.
Below are our favourite entries.
