Taste of Grampian takes place today for the 20th time.

It’s a highlight in the region’s food and drink calendar – and has attracted some big names over the years including James Martin.

Here is everything you need to know about the Thainstone event.

When it is on and where?

Taste of Grampian kicks off today at the Thainstone Centre, Inverurie.

What time does it start?

The action kicks off with the primary school competitions at 9am.

Who is on this year’s line up?

This year features celebrity chef John Torode, reality TV star Spencer Matthews, Scotland’s National Chef Gary Maclean as well as the Kilted Chef, Craig Wilson.

Completing the celebrity line-up is Glasgow born Helen Vass who was in the winning team of BBC2’s Bake Off Crème de le Crème in 2016.

What is the weather forecast?

According to the Met Office’s forecast for the Grampian area, today is likely to be “more settled with most places staying dry”.

It continues: “Good sunny spells lifting temperatures to seasonally warm. However cloudier in the far west with the odd isolated light shower possible. Maximum temperature 20 °C.”
