Nissan’s electric dream

Nissan has announced full UK pricing and specifications for the revolutionary e-NV200, the 100% electric van that aims to change the light commercial vehicle market for ever.

The trailblazing model combines the exceptional all-round capability and versatility of the Nissan NV200 with a state-of-the-art all-electric drivetrain currently operating in over 100,000 Nissan LEAFs worldwide. This combination delivers unprecedented running costs of 2p per mile.

The groundbreaking newcomer, available from July in both panel van and five-seat combi form, as well as in two trim levels, offers exceptional savings in running costs over a conventional diesel van, making it an unbeatable proposition for businesses large and small.

Owners of the e-NV200 can expect to benefit from up to £2,500 of fuel savings, with the vehicle costing 2p a mile to run, while maintenance costs will be reduced by £575 based on servicing, parts and wear and tear. In addition, those who opt for the all-electric e-NV200 will pay no road tax and will be exempt from the London congestion charge.

With the government incentive, the e-NV200 van, in entry-level Acenta trim, can be purchased outright for just £16,562.20, while the similarly specced combi is priced at £22,859. Meanwhile, those choosing the Flex option, with monthly battery rental starting from £61, will see their initial outlay (incorporating PiVG/PiCG) on the same Acenta level van and combi fall to just £13,393 and £17,855 respectively.
