UK women would choose eligible bachelor HRH Prince Harry as their ideal passenger on a car journey, according to a new survey.

More than 1,000 women were polled on behalf of Seat to celebrate the launch of the Mii by MANGO, a special edition version of the city car created in conjunction with the famous fashion brand.

Prince Harry topped the ‘ideal passenger’ poll comfortably with 25% of the vote, while former football superstar David Beckham was second favourite with 21%.

Bottom of the pile was current Prime Minister David Cameron, while pop stars Tinnie Tempah and One Direction’s Harry Styles were surprisingly unpopular, nabbing just 4 and 5% of the vote respectively.

Hunger Games actor Jennifer Lawrence came third with 18%, another Royal Kate Middleton and Beyoncé closing out the top five.

As well as choosing their ideal passenger, women were also polled about the battle of the sexes. 70% consider themselves to be far more skilled drivers than the men in their lives, and 49% of women believe they have a better sense of direction than their male counterparts.
