Fancy a holiday lucky dip? This travel site will organise a mystery trip for you

If you’re the kind of person who likes surprises, you might have fantasised about heading off on holiday and having absolutely no idea where the destination might be.

Well, now there’s a travel website which can help you do just that.

Jubel offers customers a holiday lucky dip, where they can choose to let the company make the big decisions on where they go and what they do.

How it all works is the company asks you to choose a theme to your travel and some locations you would like to visit, before the company then designs your journey and chooses some activities for you to try.

Once you are happy with the price and theme of your journey you make the payment and they send you the Jubel Pack, which has envelopes enclosed with your plane tickets and route hidden inside.

Customers decide how much they want to leave to the element of surprise, by making their holiday request as vague or specific as they like.

“Your request can be as vague as ‘a completely blind journey somewhere in the world’, to something more specific, such as ‘a culturally rich Indonesian experience’,” says Jubel’s site.

“But it’s entirely up to you just how much of your journey you wish to keep unknown. However, one thing is for certain: the more that is left unknown, the more rewarding and thrilling your experience will be.”

Jubel’s website claims it offers “real adventure made easy”, and with the prospect of a mysterious journey without all the planning leg-work before hand, we’re inclined to agree.
