Hundreds of people took the opportunity to put their suggestions forward to help decide on a name for the little fella. Classic names like Haggis, McTavish, Buddy and Teddy featured alongside the more unusual – including Irn Moo. The calf’s owner, Craig Finnie, will pick a shortlist of ten names from the nearly 200 suggested. And our readers will be able to vote for their favourite. The individual who pitches the winning name will receive a cuddly Highland Cow of their own.
