Aberdeen’s Linx Ice Arena has been closed until further notice due to a “technical issue”.
The city’s Beach Boulevard facility has issued a message on their website stating the closure was down the a problem with their “Olympia ice cutting machine”.
It says: “The Linx Ice Arena will be closed until further notice due to a technical issue with the Olympia ice cutting machine, meaning that we are unable to prepare the ice.
“Replacement parts have been ordered and it is expected that the Linx Ice Arena will reopen in the next few days.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will update customers on reopening times at the earliest opportunity.”
