Fire crews were today called to an alarm at Westhill Shopping Centre.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed firefighters were called out to investigate after an alert was triggered in the Specsavers branch.
One appliance was sent to the scene shortly before 11am this morning but no injuries were reported.
Firefighters left the scene at around 11.30am after discovering the call out had been a false alarm.
