A man was arrested after a seven-hour stand-off with armed police in Aberdeen.
Officers were called to an address in Rosehill Drive, near Hilton, at about 16:40 yesterday.
They were seen talking with a young man in a block of flats.
Police said no-one was seriously injured.
Inspector Jason Carrigan said: “I can confirm that this incident has been resolved. This was an isolated incident and there was no risk to the wider public.”
He added: “I am grateful to the public for their patience while the incident was dealt with.”
