A 34-year-old man has appeared in court charged with death by dangerous driving following an Aberdeenshire crash which killed three people.
Marin Rachev made no plea when he appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court earlier.
Three people died and four were seriously injured in the crash at Glenbervie on the Dundee-Aberdeen A90 road on Tuesday afternoon.
A red Renault Megane – which Rachev was driving – a Ford B Max and a CityLink coach were involved in the collision.
The two men and a woman who were killed in the crash were passengers in the Megane. It is understood they are all foreign nationals.
Rachev has been remanded in custody pending a further hearing next week.
