Motorists and residents are being warned of ice conditions as wintry weather is forecasted for the north-east.
The yellow alert has been extended until 11am tomorrow and now covers a bigger area of south Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen.
The Met Office said snow and ice may cause travel disruption on Tuesday morning.
The warning says: “An area of sleet and snow is likely to move eastwards overnight, followed by a few wintry showers. Surfaces then freezing, leading to icy stretches.
“There is a small chance that up to 2in of snow could fall down to sea level. Snow over high ground is much more likely, with 2-4in above 250 m and as much as 6in above 350 m.
Forecasters have warned the conditions could cause disruption to bus and train services, cause power cuts and affect other services such as mobile phone coverage.
