Two Aberdeen-based charities are to host a digital Disney quiz to raise vital funds for their services.
Following the outbreak, Befriend a Child’s and AberNecessities’ number of fundraisers across the region were cancelled.
In order to continue to support its services, the online quiz will take place on Thursday via Facebook live.
Bethany Hogg, fundraising manager for Befriend a Child, said: “Covid-19 has had a significant impact on the third sector across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire, so while our programmes and projects are more in demand than ever and we aren’t able to raise funds to support them in the same traditional ways as we have before.
“We wanted to work with fellow charities during this time who are also feeling the effects of the virus.
“We reached out to our friends at AberNecessities with this fundraising idea as most of the families using their services cross over with those we support through our befriending and mentoring programmes and projects.”
