Motorists are being urged to take care after a tree snapped and fell onto a commuter road.
Leaves and branches have blocked off most of Countesswells Road between the Ben Reid Garden Centre and the turn off to the Hazlehead forest walks.
Cones have been put in place as a temporary measure to warn motorists travelling in the dark.
The incident followed several hours of heavy rain across the north-east.
