Police are at the scene of an incident which took place in a north-east village last night. Officers were called to the Mirchi kebab shop, in the Square, Mintlaw, at 5.35pm. UPDATE: Man dies in disturbance at north-east takeaway Witnesses said there were ambulances at the scene but they are understood to have now left the area. Officers are currently guarding the front and back of the building. A police spokesman said he was unable to give further details about the incident. He said: “Police Scotland can confirm they are dealing with an incident in the Square, Mintlaw.”
