Rescue teams have been launched at Aberdeen harbour after a cow fell into the water.
The coastguard reported the incident at 8.45am this morning and described it as ‘exceptionally unusual’.
It is believed the cow fell in near to where the Shetland ferry departs.
Aberdeen coastguard spokesman said: “We don’t know how it got in the harbour, we have got the Aberdeen inshore lifeboat there, assisting with harbour vessels trying to get it out. Just now they’re at the Round House at Pocra Quay. We were called at 8.35am.”
