Aberdeen workers have been thanked for helping to provide thousands of shoeboxes packed with gifts for underprivileged children at Christmas.
Boxes were collected at Regus centres in Berry Street and Riverside Drive for the shoebox appeal launched by Samaritan’s Purse.
Regus employees contributed thousands of gift-filled shoeboxes, which have made their way to orphaned, hospitalised and refugee children across the globe.
Executive director of Samaritan’s Purse, Simon Barrington, said: “We would like to thank the Regus network of local workplace centres for their support again this year, as well as all the members of the public who wrapped, packed and brought in their shoeboxes.
“Thanks to them, many thousands of children who otherwise wouldn’t have received any presents this Christmas knew they weren’t forgotten.”
Regus UK’s CEO, Richard Morris, said: “We’re delighted to have been involved.”
