Police in Fort William are appealing for information after an attempted break-in at a supermarket. The incident happened around 11.10pm on Tuesday at the Spar store on Grange Road in the town. No entry was gained and nothing was stolen, although damage was caused to the external door. Constable Scott Williamson said: “We would urge anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around the area to come forward. “In particular we are working to identify three people all dressed in dark clothing, who were seen in the area around that time. “If you have information which could help, please call 101 quoting reference NP2189/19.
