Three fire crews were earlier today battling a large wildfire on Lewis.
A call was received by the fire service at 10.33am this morning to an area of grass on fire in Leurbost.
A fire spokeswoman said at the height of the blaze, the fire measured in at three squared acres, approximately 130,680 square foot.
Firefighters used beaters, knapsack, a hose reel jet and portable pumps to combat the fire before departing the scene at 1.41pm.
No persons were injured, nor was there any threat to property.
