The Stornoway coastguard rescue helicopter was scrambled today to airlift a crewman with a medical issue from an offshore vessel.
The aircraft was scrambled shortly after 6am to medivac the crew member who reported unwell on board the stand-by vessel which was 102 nautical miles north east of Shetland.
Shetland coastguard said the crewman was flown to the landing site at Clickimin in Lerwick and taken for medical treatment.
