The A82 is blocked in Fort Augustus after an accident

The A82 is currently blocked after an accident involving a lorry and a 4X4 in a north town.

The accident happened on the Fort William to Inverness road in Fort Augustus at around 10.50am.

Police have said that a “small transporter lorry” towing a trailer and the 4X4 were involved in the accident.

A spokeswoman confirmed that nobody was injured in the incident. The road was closed to recover the 4X4 from the trunk road.
