More than 1,000 Highlanders packed the heart of Dingwall at the weekend for a day of celebrations for the Platinum Jubilee.

The town’s community council organised the community event on Saturday to bring locals back together after the Covid pandemic.

Tables lined the High Street as spectators revelled in pipe band performances, fancy dress parades and live entertainment.

Our reporter Ross Hempseed and photographer Jason Hedges were in Dingwall throughout the afternoon to capture the mood in the community.
