A major new dance festival to fill the gap left by RockNess will be celebrated with the launch of an exclusive yacht party on Loch Ness.

Groove Loch Ness, to be held beside the village of Dores, will feature electronic dance music and is expected to attract about 5,000 revellers and may become an annual fixture.

And on June 27, 60 people will be invited aboard Cruise Loch Ness’s flagship cruiser, The Legend of Loch Ness, for a party to thank people who have supported the festival and bought their tickets.

People must buy their tickets on or before June 12 to be in with a chance of joining the party with two friends of their choosing, and details of the boat party can be found on the festival’s website.

Two more internationally renowned artists have been announced for the line-up at the festival on August 22.

German DJ and producer Marco Niemerski, known as Tensnake, is the latest addition to the bill. Also joining the line-up are London’s up and coming female electronic duo act, Eli and Fur.

Already announced and headlining the first outing is world-famous electronic duo Groove Armada in an exclusive Scottish festival appearance.

Pioneering Belgian brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, better known as 2 Many DJs, will also be bringing their electrifying performance to the banks of the loch.
