Police and a fire crew from Inverness attended the scene at the Tore Roundabout. A fire spokewoman said the call came in at 8.42am and the car was “well alight”. She added firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one jet to extinguish the blaze. Police closed the southbound carriageway of the road while they dealt with the fire.
