Billy Ocean has been forced to cancel his latest appearance in the Highlands.
The Trinidadian-English pop singer was due to take to the Inverness Leisure stage last night but has pulled out because of a throat infection.
In a Facebook post, event promoter Live in the City said work is underway to reschedule the gig.
It said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances Billy’s appearance in Inverness has been cancelled due to a throat infection.
“We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
“We will keep you updated to a reschedule date.
“We will make a further announcement in the next 48 hours.”
