Shetland coastguard attended two offshore medical emergencies last night and this morning.
Coastguard helicopter R900 lifted the first casualty off a platform 98 nautical miles north east of Sumburgh shortly after midnight.
The casualty was flown to Aberdeen and transferred onwards to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary at around 2am.
The second casualty was airlifted by helicopter R948 from a platform some 63 nautical miles north-west of Sumburgh at around 9.45am and taken to Lerwick for onward transfer to the town’s Gilbert Bain Hospital.
