Police are hunting for a group of people who tried to smash their way into an Inverness flat. At least five people tried to get into the property on Huntly Street at around 11pm on Monday, threatening to harm one of the occupants. Hundreds of pounds worth of damage was caused. Nobody was hurt, but the flat occupant was shaken by the incident. Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward to assist their inquiries. Call 101.
