Customers at Morrisons on Milburn Road were told to leave the shop while fire crews attended to extinguish a small blaze. Two appliances attended the incident at about 7.45pm and used a dry powder extinguisher to fight the flames. Both appliances came from Inverness, with the stop message coming in at 8.59pm. Fire crews have left the scene and it is not known whether the store has reopened. A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said: “We had two appliances on the scene tackling a fire on the premises. “The stop message came in at 8.59pm and we have now left the scene.” Already a subscriber?
