
The A9 Inverness-Perth road is closed tonight after severe blizzards at the Drumochter Pass.
Bear Scotland and the police have confirmed they have shut the snow gates at Blair Atholl and Dalwhinnie.
The roads contractor has said that there is “zero visibility” a Drumochter because drifting snow.
Driving conditions have been difficult in the area all day and a further two Highland roads are also closed.
The Met Office is forecasting further snow and ice tomorrow and into Monday and Tuesday.
