The busy crossing carrying the A9 Inverness to Thurso road over the Beauly Firth was closed over around 45 minutes. It followed “concern for a vulnerable member of the public” from police. The situation has now been resolved. However, the closure of the road has caused congestion in the area around the and also in the city centre.
