A van has crashed off a main road to the east of Inverness this afternoon.
The accident happened on the A96 Inverness-Aberdeen road, close to the Barn Church Road junction to Balloch, at about 2.35pm.
A police spokesman said that the male van driver, believed to be the sole occupant of the vehicle, was uninjured.
The spokesman added that the van has finished up in a nearby field and is awaiting recovery.
