Hundreds of cyclists will descend upon Moray next week for the annual Glen Moray Bike Ride.

Set to take place on Saturday June 24, the event will offer cycling options for people of all ages and abilities, with choices of a 10-mile family friendly route, a 25-mile route and a 75-mile sportive.

Organised by Scottish hearing charity North East Sensory Services (NESS), this is the 19th year the bike ride has taken place with Glen Moray Distillery sponsoring it for the sixth time.

The event will raise money for NESS, who supports over 6,000 people in the north-east who have sight or hearing loss.

Neil Skene, fundraising coordinator for NESS said: “We are encouraging others to take to the saddle and get involved in the local cycling event, which promises a day of fun for all the family.

“Last year, over 200 cyclists took part in the bike ride, raising over £6,000 for NESS. This event is one of the biggest in our fundraising calendar and helps to raise vital funds for people of all ages across Moray.”

The cycles will start and finish at Glen Moray Distillery.

Registration to the event is open until 12pm on 22 June on line at www.q-buster.co.uk
