A school bus driver in Moray was taken to hospital yesterday following a collision involving his vehicle and a lorry.
The incident happened in the morning near the cemetery at Glenlivet.
No serious injuries were sustained by anybody involved in the collision.
A Moray Council spokeswoman said: “One pupil was on the bus at the time and sustained superficial injuries to his hand.
“The bus driver was taken by ambulance to Dr Gray’s with cuts and bruising and has now been released from hospital.”
Moray MP Douglas Ross thanked emergency services for attending the incident.
He added: “I know that an investigation is ongoing into what happened.
“Clearly, this matter needs to be looked at closely, but I’m glad the result for those involved was not as severe as it could have been.”
