Burns Day is the next event in the National Trust for Scotland’s winter festival at Brodie Castle.
The team is organising a range of activities on Saturday, January 25, to celebrate the life and work of the national bard.
The castle will offer wide variety of Scottish activities for visitors to enjoy between 11am and 3pm.
Family fun will include the chance to ‘hunt the elusive haggis’ during the scavenger hunt and there will be an array of Scottish-themed arts and crafts activities for children.
James Dean, operations manager at Brodie Castle, said: “As well as story time sessions which will be held throughout the day, there will be local musicians waiting to greet you in the café, playing Scottish tunes of old and new.
“And in true Burns style, there will be a themed menu in the café, with haggis, neeps and tatties – and cranachan of course.
“For those that haven’t tried haggis before, our visitors can enjoy complimentary tastings, with haggis being donated from Murdoch Butchers.
Tickets are £5 per person – children aged 2 and under are free – and are available through the NTS website or purchased on the day at the gate.
