Second World War medals and antique jewellery have been stolen during a “despicable” daylight raid in Moray.
The items were taken from a home on St Leonards Road in Forres between 8.30am and 1.15pm on Tuesday.
Police have described the stolen goods as holding “high sentimental value”.
Detective Robert Graham said: “I urge anyone who may have seen any suspicious persons, vehicles or actions particularly in the woodlands of Cluny Hill to contact us.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
