Police have identified the man found dead in Fraserburgh yesterday.
The body of 85-year-old Robert Alexander Slessor Anderson was found near Fraserburgh Leisure Centre yesterday morning.
It is understood a local postman made the grim discovery and called the emergency services, during his morning deliveries yesterday.
Police have confirmed that investigations into the death remain ongoing, however, there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
As with all sudden deaths, a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
