A popular Scottish band will live stream their last ever concert to give their fans a much needed boost during lockdown.
Runrig is hoping to raise the spirits of fans by streaming a film of their farewell concert “The Last Dance”.
The 180 minute concert captures their farewell concert which was filmed live in front of Stirling Castle in 2018 with over 50,000 fans in attendance.
Celebrating the end of an era, the performance will be free to view on Saturday from 7pm to 10pm at https://www.facebook.com/events/218882552660577/.
Founding member and bass guitarist of Runrig, Rory Macdonald said: “During these uncertain times, it may be hard to feel connected with the communities we love most.
“We hope that by live streaming our farewell performance, captured in the film The Last Dance, we’ll help reunite our fans and the Runrig community, and help raise the spirits.”
